Overview
Bishop Kearney High School is excited to introduce the "Be You at BK" summer program. A five-week immersive experience designed for students ages 9-16. Camps run from July 14 - August 14, Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 3:30pm. They will offer engaging weekly themes that showcase BK's strengths in academics, the arts, and athletics. Each week features a unique focus, hands-on activities, and exciting field trips to Rochester-area destinations.

Be You at BK (July 14 - July 17)
Welcome to BK! This week is all about exploring what makes YOU unique. Meet new friends, dive into BK's exciting programs, and experience the energy of our campus. Mornings kick off with open gym and engaging activities that showcase BK life. Mid-day field trips will take you behind the scenes of exciting local destinations. Afternoons bring time to explore creative projects, interactive games, and outdoor challenges!
Be a Performer at BK (July 21 - July 24)
Lights, camera, action! Whether you love acting, dancing, music, film, or TV production, this week is your time to shine. Jump into hands-on workshops, take part in behind-the-scenes experiences, and visit exciting locations connected to the performing arts. Meet industry guests, explore different creative roles, and wrap up each day with discussions on what makes a great performance!
Be a Scientist at BK (July 28 - July 31)
Get ready to experiment, build, and discover! This week is all about **STEM**--from chemistry to coding, physics to engineering, and everything in-between. Engaging morning challenges will spark your curiosity, followed by eye-opening field trips to places where science comes to life. Expect hands-on projects, expert guests, and plenty of moments that make you go “WOW!”
Be an Athlete at BK (August 4 - August 7)
Speed, strength, strategy--this week is built for movement! Whether you're a competitive athlete or just love to stay active, each day will push your skills to the next level. Try different sports, work with experienced coaches, and take part in action-packed challenges. Special guests and trip to an exciting sports venue will make this week one to remember!
Be a Creator at BK (August 11 - August 14)
Let your creativity take center stage! Whether you love art, photography, storytelling, or digital media, this week is all about bringing ideas to life. Explore different creative techniques, experiment with new tools, and get inspired by visits to artistic spaces. With hands-on projects, guest artists, and time to develop your own ideas, you'll leave with something uniquely YOU!
