Bishop Kearney, home to one of the nation’s top hockey programs, is launching a Training & Development Program (TDP) for Rochester-area hockey players in grades 6-12. This unique program provides elite training alongside a traditional academic schedule, designed to elevate skills and game performance.
Program Highlights:
- Elite Training for Local Players: On-ice sessions twice weekly and off-ice training through specialized fitness sessions.
- Balanced Schedule: Students attend school, complete off-ice training through specialized fitness sessions, and head to on-ice sessions in the afternoon.
- Small Cohort: Limited to 20 students in its pilot year, with potential for expansion.
What’s Included?
- ~50 on-ice sessions annually.
- ~60 off-ice sessions annually focusing on strength, conditioning, mindset, and mental health.
Cost and Enrollment:
- Open when you are an enrolled BK student.
- Hockey Training and Development Program (TDP) Fee ($2,500)
- Total tuition cost: $9,900 for middle schoolers, $13,900 for high schoolers.
- 85% of BK families receive financial aid or scholarships.
