    Bishop Kearney is proud to partner with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) to offer Creatify, a unique opportunity for students to explore and grow their artistic talents. Through this club, students travel to the RIT campus to participate in hands-on workshops and creative experiences led by professionals in the field.

Bishop Kearney opened me up to so many opportunities and set me up for success in more ways than I hoped for: in the classroom, on the field, and in various clubs.

Be Successful

Earn an invitation to the Junior National Honor Society (grades 6–8) or National Honor Society (grades 11–12) based on your scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members participate in community service projects and are eligible for college scholarships.

Share Your Musical Talents

All instrumentalists and singers in grades 7–12 can join Concert Band and Concert Choir. Sharpen your musical skills and perform as part of an ensemble, all while developing your self-discipline, work ethic, and concentration.

  • Homecoming

    We know how to celebrate. We have a week packed with BK Spirit activities and games. The week ends with our traditional homecoming dance in our gymnasium.
  • House Day

    Last day of school is celebrated in a house field day. We have inflatables, lawn games, picnic, ice cream truck and final house competition which determines the house cup winner! The winner is announced at the end of the day.
  • Junior Prom & Senior Ball

    Off-site, we crown King and Queen and Prince & Princess.
  • Senior Activities

    Senior Sunrise/Sunset – In the fall we meet in our stadium for a senior sunrise commemorating the start of their final year. We have a candlelight breakfast and it is BYO coffee! In the spring the class comes together watch the sunset as their year comes to an end.
    Senior Breakfast – When seniors reach the 100 day mark of days left, we celebrate with a catered breakfast, senior shirts and lawn signs.
    Senior Week—Seniors end their year with a full week of events planned by seniors. We have gone camping, hosted a senior picnic, brought in ice cream trucks, organized a fun-filled day complete with a super-sized slip-and-slide, and had a senior versus staff kickball game!
    PACE Party P. A. C. E. (Parents Against Chemical Excess) provides our seniors with the opportunity to be together to celebrate their years at Bishop Kearney in an environment that is safe and free from chemical stimulants. It is a night filled with fun, entertainment, food, gifts, and prizes for the entire class.
     
  • Senior vs. Staff Basketball Game

    Students and staff go head-to-head in a fun yet competitive basketball game.
  • Spirit Weeks

    We celebrate homecoming, Christmas, Catholic school week and more with fun themed dress down days
  • Winter Semi-Formal

    We end our midterm week with a celebration. Our annual winter semi-formal is held at a venue off site.
