Retreats and Catholic Life

Retreats are a cornerstone of Bishop Kearney. We dedicate time for every student to step away from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a reflective environment to gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

List of 5 items.

  • Middle School Retreat

This half-day retreat for grades 6–8 encourages team building and strengthening bonds with classmates.
  • Awakenings (Freshmen)

Students discover the BK school spirit by connecting with classmates in the 8-hour evening school takeover retreat. We use every part of BK for this fun and reflective student-led retreat, so our students learn about what it means to be a BK student.
  • Discovery (Sophomore)

This one-day retreat is held at Camp Stella Maris. This retreat dives into personal journeys to make a clear path for the future.
  • Kairos (Juniors)

Many students describe this 3-day/2-night retreat as a life-changing experience. Through self-reflection and community building, you develop lasting friendships, strengthen your spirituality, and renew your passion for serving others.
  • Fourth (Seniors)

Your final overnight retreat solidifies friendships and offers closure as you prepare for the next chapter of your life.

The retreat program at BK is a chance to get to know your peers on a deeper level, build connections and friendships that’ll last a lifetime. Getting to lead retreats is a chance to share your personal journey with those who can connect with you more than they know.
