Bishop Kearney Partners with the Rochester Ridgemen
Bishop Kearney is proud to announce a new seasonal partnership with the Rochester Ridgemen, a collegiate summer baseball team competing in the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL). This collaboration brings high-level baseball to our campus while offering an exciting new way to engage with the wider Rochester community.
As part of the partnership, Bishop Kearney provides the Ridgemen with access to on-campus housing and training facilities, including use of our baseball field.

The Rochester Ridgemen are part of the NYCBL, a wood-bat league sanctioned by the NCAA and partially funded by Major League Baseball. The league serves as a development platform for college athletes seeking to sharpen their skills, gain experience with wood bats, and be seen by professional scouts.
Though the partnership takes place over the summer when students are off campus, it brings valuable energy and visibility to Bishop Kearney. Families are encouraged to attend home games, public events, and youth skills camps hosted by the Ridgemen throughout their season.
This partnership reflects Bishop Kearney’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, athletics, and showcasing our exceptional campus to new audiences across the region.
