Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence in our Community
BK Guidance
Our goal is to assist all high school students with the developmental processes in intellectual, social and personal growth. We aid all of our students in making informed and individually appropriate social, educational and vocational choices.
In the tradition of the Edmund Rice Christian Brothers of North America we are committed to developing our students within the guidelines of "The Essential Elements of and Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education," with a specific focus on Essential Element Number Seven: Pursuing Excellence in all Endeavors.
We are proud of the fact that 100% of our graduates have been accepted to the college of their choice. We begin the college process as early as freshmen with a dedicated effort to helping each student discover their strengths and areas of interest. We continue to work diligently with each student throughout their time here, culminating in the senior year when application and scholarship deadlines are at hand.
Introducing our staff:
|
| As the junior/senior counselor, my focus is on aiding the students in their desire to continue their pursuit of education past high school. I oversee the college application process starting in junior year with career assessment and individualized college planning. In preparation for college, students are encouraged to take part in PSAT, ACT and SAT test preparation. For our college bound athletes, I assist in ensuring that students complete the NCAA Clearinghouse process. |
