              BK Alumni & Fans: Don't Miss the Rematch!

Though the Kings fell to the Little Irish (76 - 71) in double overtime on January 11th at AQ, Kearney will have another chance to meet their rivals on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Blue Cross Arena.  Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

Kearney will be the home team for the game that was moved from Bishop Kearney to the Blue Cross Arena with the financial backing of Mike Ruff, a member of the Section V Basketball Hall of Fame.  

The BK vs. AQ matchups are typically sell-outs. Playing at the BCA will afford more students, families, alumni and fans to attend one of the most anticipated boys' basketball games of the season.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the 2/1 game at the BCA are $5 (all general admission) and can be purchased at the Blue Cross Arena Box Office (Box Office hours are : Monday -Friday 11 am - 3 pm, Saturday 10 am - 2 pm) and at the gate on the night of the event. They are also available through Ticketmaster.

Tickets are also available at Bishop Kearney and will be sold in the Lions' Den (the school's bookstore) between the hours of 11am – 1pm, or by contacting Chris Belmont in the Athletic Office at (585) 342-4000 ext. 212. You may also contact Mike Ruff at (585) 737-3688 for tickets.

The Kings have three players who are drawing interest from top Division I schools from around the country:

Chinoso Obokoh, a 6'9 junior, is ranked in the Top 60 in the country in the Class of 2013 and has offers from Syracuse, James Madison, West Virginia, Villanova, Miami, Temple and Buffalo. Others showing interest are Florida State, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, St. Johns, Iowa, Washington, USC, and VCU.

Thomas Bryant, the 6'7 freshman, has drawn interest from North Carolina, UCLA, Pittsburgh, Washington, St. Bonaventure, Syracuse, St. Johns and USC.

Antwoine Anderson, a 6'1 junior, has interest from Canisius, Niagara and Quinnipiac.
